KENYA, AFRICA // feb 25-march 8A team of 2 will join Wade and Barbara Akins to train African pastors in Pioneer Evangelism. Pioneer Evangelism is a missions strategy developed by Wade to partner with national leaders from other countries to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple new believers, and start reproducing churches.
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC // july 20 -28The team will lead corporate worship services, VBS, sports clinics, and prayer walks to demonstrate the love of God to the people of this island country. Our church has been able to form many relationships in DR over the last several years. We have traditionally taken large groups on this trip enabling us to leave a lasting impression on the lives of these dear people. Any forms related to this trip can be found here.
CHICAGO, IL // may 24 – 29Our college ministry will assist Mosaic Church in ministry projects in the Wicker Park area of Chicago. The church’s purpose is that they would live and teach the Kingdom of God in communities of faith that make disciples, engage society, and actively become a part of His church.
PINE RIDGE RESERVATION, // June 8-16In 2010, 52 children between the ages of 10 and 14 committed suicide in this reservation. With the level of despair, hopelessness, & poverty at an all time high in this South Dakota region, we will go to share the hope and love of Christ with these Native Americans. We will support a local church that is helping to bring hope and healing to the children through day camps and children’s activities.
